Tanja Hüberli and Nina Brunner are ending their collaboration after nine years. The duo, who won the bronze medal in Paris this summer, announced this on Monday. “Winning the bronze medal in Paris was an absolute highlight,” Brunner is quoted as saying.
Brunner is quitting (for now), Hüberli with a new partner
The woman from Zug is temporarily turning her back on professional sport and wants to “devote herself to the desire to have her own family”. Brunner could certainly imagine returning to top-class sport after a break.
Hüberli, on the other hand, continues her career. On whose side will be “announced shortly”. The woman from Schwyz writes: “I still enjoy my sport a lot. Of course it’s a shame that our paths are parting for the time being. We weren’t just partners, we became good friends.”
