Manchester United, who led 2-0 in the 20th minute, snatched a draw thanks to a header from Harry Maguire in added time on the field of FC Porto (3-3), Thursday during the 2nd day of the Europa League .

Two first goals from Marcus Rashford (7th) and Rasmus Hojlund (20th) seemed to launch the Mancuniens towards success, but the Portuguese reversed the course of the match with goals from Pepê (27th) and a double from Samuel Omorodion (34th, 50th).

But while the Red Devils were playing with ten men after the exclusion of their captain Bruno Fernandes for two yellow cards (81st), Maguire, who came on about ten minutes earlier, snatched the draw with an angry header at the reception of a corner taken from the right by Christian Eriksen (90+1).

Manchester United, winner of the FA Cup last season, nevertheless remains in a difficult phase of its history, sitting in thirteenth place in the Premier League after six days, with already three defeats, including two particularly humiliating 3 -0 at home against Liverpool then Tottenham last Sunday.

And a perilous trip awaits him on Sunday in the championship, on the field of Aston Villa, who defeated Bayern Munich (1-0) on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Roma beaten

Another surprise came from Sweden where Elfsborg won against Roma 1-0. Ivan Juric’s men have only one point after two days.

In Scotland, made the difference against Glasgow Rangers and won 1-4. The French thus record a second victory in two matches.

In Turkey, Eintracht Frankfurt beat Besiktas (1-3), in Bilbao, Athletic Club defeated Alkamar (2-0), Twente and Fenerbahce drew (1-1), Steaua Bucharest won in Salonika against PAOK (0-1) and Union Saint-Gilloie against Bodoe/Glimt, just like Plzen against Ludogorets, finished 0-0.

slapped in Rome

In matches played late in the afternoon, no surprises. A surprising score perhaps, the slap received by Nice in Rome against Lazio (4-1). The Romans are undefeated after two matches and the French remain at one point. Tottenham also have two wins since Thursday after winning 1-2 at Ferencvaros.

Both winners in the first round, Slavia Prague and Ajax did not confirm by drawing (1-1). Anderlecht succeeded. The Belgians won in San Sebastian against Real Sociedad (1-2). Spaniards who only have one point.

Finally, in Germany, Hoffenheim beat Dynamo kyiv 2-0, in Belgrade, Maccabi Tel Aviv lost 0-2 against Midtjylland, in Piraeus, Olympiakos easily won against Braga (3-0) , in Baku, Qarabag lost against Malmö (1-2) and in Latvia, Riga FS drew against Galatasaray 2-2.
