Two trials in Itzehoe on child and youth pornography

On Wednesday, two trials began before the regional court in Itzehoe (Steinburg district) regarding data possession of child and youth pornography. According to the indictment, a 22-year-old from Itzehoe is said to have had a total of almost 4,000 pieces of child pornography and more than 1,600 pieces of youth pornography on his storage media. At the time of the search, the defendant was still a teenager. That’s why he’s standing before the youth jury court. The other defendant is now 23 years old. Bank robbery from Itzehoe with “file number XY”

A bank robbery from Itzehoe (Steinburg district) is the topic of Wednesday’s ZDF television program “Aktenzeichen XY”. It’s about a robbery at the Volks- und Raiffeisenbank branch on Ostlandplatz in Itzehoe. A man entered the bank on the morning of May 3rd last year, threatened the two employees with a knife and demanded that they hand over the money. Election of youth trainee representatives

Trainees and young employees in Steinburg and Dithmarschen can now elect a “junior works council”. This is about the so-called youth trainee representation. The JAV is a nationwide instrument that was launched on Tuesday. The trade union IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt pointed this out. With strong representation in the company, the young people could better represent their interests, said a union spokesman. An election is possible in a company with at least five young people or trainees and in which there is already a works council.
