Celtic have won all competitive games so far this season, both in the league and in the Champions League. BVB rehabilitated themselves after the 1:5 defeat in Stuttgart with a 4:2 against VfL Bochum. Dortmund and Glasgow met in the UEFA Cup in 1987 and 1992, with BVB winning three times and Celtic winning once.

BVB with Guirassy against Celtic

:The late starter overtakes himself

After his move from VfB, Serhou Guirassy settled into Dortmund more quickly than expected. Four goals in four games fuel hopes of success in the Champions League – but also concerns that the striker will be gone all the quicker.

Bayer Leverkusen – AC Milan

  • Kick-off: Tuesday, October 1st, 9 p.m
  • Sender: dazn

After a shaky start to the season in Serie A, Milan were able to win their last three games, including the city derby against Inter Milan. At the start of the Champions League, however, there was a 1:3 defeat against Liverpool FC. The Werkself got off to a furious start in the premier class with a 4-0 win in Rotterdam and stabilized their defense, which had recently been shaky in the Bundesliga, in a 1-1 draw against FC Bayern. For Leverkusen and Milan it is the first meeting in a European competition.

AC Milan vs Leverkusen

:A hero for two weeks

Everything can change, even within a very short space of time: In Italian football, Milan’s sudden resurgence proves how result-dependent coaches’ fates are – with Paulo Fonseca, a certain stubbornness pays off.

Undefeated, Juventus Turin is currently in second place in Serie A behind SSC Napoli. After two wins at the start of the season, Turin’s next three games all ended 0-0, followed by a 3-0 win at FC Genoa at the weekend. The Italians got off to a successful start in the Champions League with a 3-1 win against PSV Eindhoven.
