The Australian, who returned to Formula 1 last year from the Hungarian Grand Prix with the AlphaTauri (now Visa Cash App RB) team, has scored points on five occasions this season, but his performances will not have not enough to convince the Red Bull clan to keep it.
Last weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix, where he finished 18th with the fastest lap, was therefore his last race behind the wheel of the Visa Cash App RB. He leaves the Faenza-based team with immediate effect.
