Wells Fargo employee dies at work in Tempe office; body not found until days later

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A Wells Fargo employee who died at a Tempe office wasn’t found until days later, authorities say.

According to Tempe police, 60-year-old Denise Prudhomme, who worked at the Wells Fargo corporate office near Priest Drive and Washington Street, scanned into work on Aug. 16 at 7 a.m. However, four days later, on Aug. 20, Tempe authorities then responded to the location for reports about a “subject down.”

Security at the building found Prudhomme dead inside the building, days after she clocked in. Authorities say no signs of foul play were found.

Arizona’s Family reached out to Wells Fargo and received the following statement:

Tempe Police Criminal Investigations Bureau is working with the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine Prudhomme’s cause of death.
