Rea Garvey usually keeps his family life out of the public eye. But the singer’s new music video features his 19-year-old daughter Aamor.
At the end of the 1990s, Rea Garvey became known as the frontman of the band Reamonn – although the group split up in 2010, the now 51-year-old is still successful as a singer and regularly appears on television, for example in the casting show “The Voice of Germany”. But although Garvey has been in the spotlight for around 25 years, little is known about his private life. He has kept his two children with his wife Josephine largely out of the public eye – until now.
At least Rea Garvey has now shown his eldest child. 19-year-old Aamor can be seen in his new music video, and he also shared several photos of the video shoot on his Instagram channel. In another clip, in which father and daughter have to answer questions, it is also clear how similar the two are. Rea and Aamor Garvey often answer the either-or questions in the video in the same way, laughing heartily. You can see the clip below.
“Of course we have a lot in common,” wrote Rea Garvey. The musician’s fans also noticed this. “It’s funny when you have the same sense of humor. Great family,” wrote one person in the comments section. “How brilliant and funny. There is no doubt that you are related,” reads one person. “You can clearly see that she is your daughter,” noted another person. “You two are so sweet,” commented one person.
In addition, several subscribers said they recognized that Aamor Garvey bears a strong resemblance to her mother. “She looks like her mother’s twin sister,” marveled one fan. “She looks exactly like Josephine,” agreed another person.
