A police operation has been underway in Konstanz and Kreuzlingen since Thursday evening following an altercation in a Konstanz hotel.
“A 19-year-old fled on an e-scooter in the direction of the city center/Switzerland,” wrote the Konstanz police. The man is being searched for “with all available resources and with the support of Swiss colleagues.” He is probably carrying a weapon, it continues.
According to the police, the argument occurred in the early evening hours in the area of Reichenaustrasse/Schänzlebrücke in downtown Konstanz.
The exact background to the incident is currently unclear. The Thurgau cantonal police confirmed the police operation in Kreuzlingen on Thursday evening in response to a request from the Keystone-SDA news agency.
