Points hunt on ORF: In the home games against Kazakhstan and Norway on October 10th and 13th, 2024, live on ORF 1 and on ORF ON from 8:15 p.m., important points are at stake for Austria’s national football team, which not only affect the further course of events the Nations League, but also with regard to qualification for the 2026 World Cup – which will be shown live and exclusively on ORF. In addition to the highlights of the Nations League games, ORF ON is offering all football fans a special “treat”: From Thursday, October 10th, ÖFB team boss Ralf Rangnick will present his personal “must see” streaming highlights on ORF ON: These include sports documentaries such as “Football Legends – Krankl and Prohaska” and “Skiing as Science” as well as contemporary historical contributions such as “The Fateful Year 1938” or comedy highlights such as those from “Welcome Austria”.
In the first duel of the two international matches on home soil in Linz against Kazakhstan, Boris Kastner-Jirka and Roman Mählich accompany the viewers through the game, while Alina Zellhofer takes over the moderation. She is supported by Herbert Prohaska and Viktoria Schnaderbeck, who analyze the game.
After the narrow 1-2 defeat in the first leg against Norway, in which Erling Haaland scored the winning goal in the final phase, Austria wants to take revenge in front of its own audience. Thomas König and Michael Liendl accompany the game, while Rainer Pariasek leads the evening and is again accompanied by Herbert Prohaska and Viktoria Schnaderbeck.
The last two Nations League games with Austrian participation – on October 14th and 17th, away against Kazakhstan and at home against Slovenia – can also be seen live and exclusively on ORF.
