Osijek – On the second matchday of the Nations League, Croatia will face Poland. Here’s how you can watch the match live on TV and stream on Sunday:
Update from September 7: The first matches in the Nations League have been completed. World Cup third-placed Croatia lost 2-1 in Portugal in their opening match on Thursday. Now Luka Modrić wants to get the first points in the group on Sunday (8 September). The Croatians will host Poland in Osijek, who won 3-2 in Scotland on the first match day.

The Nations League match between Croatia and Poland will not be broadcast live on free TV on Sunday, but can only be watched in Germany via the paid sports streaming service DAZN. The broadcast will start promptly for kick-off at 8:45 p.m.
Start of the Nations League: Portugal faces Croatia on Thursday
First report from 4 September: After the end of the 2024 European Championship, the new season in the Nations League is now upon the national teams. The opening match on Thursday (5 September) will include a duel between Portugal and Croatia. Kick-off at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon is at 8:45 p.m. The DFB team will face Hungary on Saturday.
For Portugal, including superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the European Football Championship ended with a quarter-final defeat against France. In the Nations League, the 2016 European champions will face Croatia, Scotland and Poland. The Croatians suffered a bitter disappointment at the European Championship.
In the last group match against Italy, the 2022 World Cup third-place team lost their place in the round of 16 shortly before the final whistle. After being eliminated in the group matches, the team around veteran star Luka Modrić now wants to have a successful Nations League season. Denmark and Switzerland, among others, will face each other on Thursday.
