Foulon confirms that, on the track as on the road, he is a force to be reckoned with in this category intended for para-cyclists with an amputation or severe injury to a hand or foot.

He climbed onto the third step of the podium behind the Australian Alistair Donohoe, in silver, and the Dutchman Daniel Abraham Gebru, crowned Paralympic champion for the second time in a row in this event, who finished 58 seconds ahead of the Breton based in the Basque Country.

“I want to enjoy myself a little before getting back into the swing of things and focus because there’s the clock.”Dorian Foulon had stressed after retaining his title during the pursuit this weekend.

With this success, the 26-year-old para-cyclist offers a 42nd medal to the French team during these Paralympic Games, the 12th for the French para-cycling delegation.

He will end his Paralympic Games with the road race scheduled for Friday.
