Burkinabe athlete Rahinatou Moné will still have to assert herself

The only athlete from Burkina Faso at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Rahinatou Moné was eliminated in the heats of the 100 meters T13, on September 3. She certainly beat her personal record but barely concealed her disappointment.

Learning that she had broken her personal record by running in 13 seconds 86, the Bobolais said she was satisfied with having progressed, before immediately closing up. I still take it bitterly, I don’t understand what went wrong.she says. I would have liked to qualify for the final, despite everything. I can do much better than that. With a lot of work, I can do it. Maybe I lacked the will and the desire to do more than before. But these are my first Paralympic Games and I admit that I learned a lot. ».
