IMSA / Daytona – The BoP adjusted in GTP and GTD

In the wake of the Roar Before the Rolex 24, the Performance Balance is undergoing some adjustments in preparation for the race.

In GTP, the weight of the Acura ARX-06 goes from 1060 kg to 1048 kg and that of the Porsche 963 is set at 1042 kg, or 1 kg more than in the Roar.

The maximum power moves for two prototypes up to 230 km/h, namely the Acura (+ 2 kW) and the Cadillac V-Series.R (+ 20 kW). All brands except Lamborghini experience a power adjustment above 150 mph. Logically, the energy per relay is also reviewed except for BMW.

The Performance Scale also moves in GTD PRO/GTD for Ferrari (- 25 kg) and Porsche (+ 20 kg) in terms of weight. IMSA also makes some changes to maximum power for Ferrari, Lexus and Porsche.
