It’s now official. The German Josef Zinnbauer is the new coach of JSK. He signed a contract for a period of two and a half years (30 months) yesterday at the headquarters of Mobilis, where he was received by CEO Chaouki Boukhazani.
The new coach of the Canaries was accompanied by the chairman of the board of directors, El-Hadi Ould-Ali, the general director, Hakim Medane, and the general manager, Karim Doudane. It should be remembered that Zinnbauer had agreed on everything with Medane and Doudane before he went to Algiers early yesterday afternoon. There were only a few details left to settle to make his arrival official, which was done just a few hours after his arrival in Algiers.
Financial concessions
After demanding a monthly salary of 75,000 euros to succeed Benchikha, Zinnbauer agreed yesterday to make some financial concessions to reach an agreement with the CEO of Mobilis and those responsible for JSK. Enthusiastic at the idea of taking charge of the most successful club in Algeria, Zinnbauer declined offers from Raja Casablanca and Zamalek to try an adventure in the Algerian championship. Zinnbauer showed some flexibility in reaching an agreement with the JSK leaders. Although the latter had agreed with him on practically everything before he took his flight to Algiers, negotiations continued yesterday at Mobilis headquarters for several hours before signing the contract which gave him was presented.
Note that the German already has a certain idea about the team, since the managers sent him videos of certain matches from the first leg. His presence this evening at the 5-July stadium, to watch the late match against CRB, will allow him to have a more precise vision of the group.

Zinnbauer and the leaders received by the CEO of Mobilis
-Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene airport in Algiers, the new JSK coach, Josef Zinnbauer, was taken to the Mobilis headquarters where he was received by CEO Chaouki Boukhazani. President El-Hadi Ould-Ali, general director Hakim Medane and general manager Karim Doudane accompanied him to the club owner’s headquarters where he had a long discussion with the first manager of Mobilis. The latter insisted during this courtesy visit on stability and the need to work more to achieve the club’s objective, that of finishing the season on the podium in order to ensure participation in a continental competition. The CEO of Mobilis welcomed the German coach who committed to playing the leading roles even before his arrival in Algeria.
Mobilis agreed to make a financial effort to hire Zinnbauer and it is completely normal that CEO Chaouki Boukhazani asks him to give everything to achieve the best possible journey. By insisting on stability, the CEO wants Zinnbauer’s adventure with the Canaries to be long-lasting. He and the club officials had put all means at the disposal of former coach Abdelhak Benchikha, but unfortunately he left the team after the 1/32 final match of the Algerian Cup against ‘ES Guelma.
With all the resources made available to the club, the CEO of Mobilis hopes that the team records results worthy of this prestigious club which has marked the history of national and continental football for several years. He is committed once again, according to the press release published last night on the company’s website, to supporting the club and putting it in the best possible conditions to achieve its objectives.
The CEO of Mobilis reaffirmed in the said press release the obligation to do everything to live up to the expectations of supporters before calling on the importance of redoubled efforts for the club to move forward. He did not forget to wish the club leaders and the new coach success in their mission.
