The Belgian Union is putting pressure on Charleroi after the events against the Union Saint-Gilloise! – All football

The repercussions of the excesses during Charleroi-Union are not yet over. The Belgian Union got involved.

Sudinfo we learn in fact that the Belgian Union summoned Sporting Charleroi following the excesses which led to the temporary cessation of the meeting against the Union, last Saturday January 11.

The Prosecutor’s Office would like to put pressure on the RCSC regarding the recurring incidents involving pyrotechnics in Mambourg.

Sporting Charleroi already succeeded spontaneously after these events, banning the Storm Ultras and Block 22 – the two groups of Carole supporters most involved in the activities – from traveling to La Gantoise.

The Belgian Union, however, expects more and asks the club to put in place a concrete action plan in order to fight against these excesses. If Sporting fails to do so within the set deadlines, sanctions could be taken, including fines and matches behind closed doors.

KV Mechelen and Antwerp had already been subject to this type of requirement from the federation in the past. Sudinfo specifies that the date of an official summons from Sporting Charleroi to the Belgian Union concerning additional sanctions has not yet been determined.
