Jayson Tatum scored 22 points and the Boston Celtics inflicted a crushing 125-85 loss on the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
At 40 points, it was the largest margin in a home loss for the Warriors in 40 years.
The Celtics quickly took control of the match and completely dominated the third quarter with 43 points to 24 for their rivals.
Kristaps Porzingis stood out with 18 points and his teammate Jaylen Brown followed with 17 points.
Stephen Curry was the leader for Golden State, but still with only 18 points. The Warriors had major problems with accuracy. They had a combined shooting success rate of 34.8% with Andrew Wiggins making just one of his 11 field goal attempts.
The last defeat by at least 40 points in front of its supporters, the organization dropped its flag against Dallas in January 1985.

PHO : Kevin Durant was the Suns’ top scorer with 23 points.
