The co-owner of the Kimono Sushi Bar in Charlesbourg, where the event was held, also had quite a surprise, both regarding the athlete’s arrival time and the clientele, which must have consisted mainly of people from business.

“Ronaldinho arrived a good 30 minutes early. People then started to enter about twenty minutes later and there were a lot of families and children, not at all the clientele that I had been told,” indicates Frédéric Petit.

The latter also believes that the Performance Group probably organized an event too big for its capacity, but the organizers deny this.

Steve Moisan also says that the restaurant was already packed when he arrived at 9 p.m., as agreed, and that he and his son did not have to present their ticket.

“We could have arrived like that, without a ticket, and managed to get in. We paid, we went just to get a photo, and there wasn’t even a signing period or prize drawing as planned,” he laments.

“It seems to me that when you sell tickets of this price, you have a list of people you are expecting and you identify them. It was the free for all», adds Mr. Petit.

Refund requested

Still bitter about his trip to the Old Capital, Steve Moisan now hopes that he can be reimbursed since he feels like he was scammed.

“I have already spoken with a few people who were also present and who are demanding to be reimbursed too. They did not respect the contract, so it is certain that I will not give up.
