Construction work on semi-Olympic swimming pools continues in several districts of Agadir. Funded by the municipality and implemented by the Agadir Souss-Massa Aménagement local development company, this project is part of the city’s urban development program and aims to provide it with quality sports infrastructure, while expanding the leisure spaces intended for residents.

In an exchange with Le360Hamid Ankouch, engineer in charge of the construction of the swimming pool in the Al Wifaq district, specifies that this installation will be designed according to international standards, allowing it to host competitions on a continental scale, and position Agadir as a national sports center and regional.

«This swimming pool will also provide the opportunity to identify and train new talents in the discipline of swimming, particularly among young people from the Al Wifaq district and surrounding areas.
