Algeria Football – After sabotaging and playing a very dirty trick on the Algerian team, karma catches up with Morocco and sinks it.

Raja Casablanca is going through an unprecedented crisis after making a decision which, in hindsight, seems to prove fatal. The striker of the Algerian team, Yousri Bouzok, after being unfairly excluded from Morocco, now seems to be one of the reasons for the malaise hitting the Moroccan club. Although Raja had a promising start to the season, everything has changed since his departure, and a series of poor results has hit the team, culminating in an early elimination from the African Champions League.

On the last day of the group stage, Raja nevertheless obtained a valuable victory against the Congolese club Manimba (1-0), with a penalty from Adam Naffakh, but this was not enough to obtain qualification. This victory was not accompanied by the expected results in the other matches, as Raja would have needed a defeat of Sundowns to qualify. The failure is all the more bitter because, paradoxically, the team’s attack experienced difficulties in the absence of a player like Bouzok, capable of providing offensive solutions.

Bouzok’s departure, decided after a series of tensions within the club, seems to have been a turning point in Raja’s season. After a successful stint, where Bouzok showed his potential with the Algerian national team and at club level, Raja opted for his exclusion, which, in hindsight, appears to be a serious mistake. Indeed, since his departure, the club has continued to sink into a sporting and institutional crisis.
