Fanny Smith shone in Reiteralm, Austria. The 32-year-old Vaudoise actually finished 2nd, between the Canadians Hannah Schmidt (1st) and India Sherret (3rd) and celebrated her 75th podium in the World Cup, her 2nd of the season. Smith delivered a breathtaking finish in the final. 3rd for a long time, the Vaudoise drew a better line than the Canadian Sherret in the last corner. The other Swiss, Talina Gantenbein and Natalie Schaer, finished 13th and 18th respectively. On the men’s side, Alex Fiva (4th) was withdrawn from the final, won by the German Florian Wilmsmann.
