In office since 2021, the director of the Côte-d'Or departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis 21), Colonel Régis Deza, is leaving. The announcement was made on Friday January 17 by Hubert Poullot, president of Sdis, on the occasion of the departmental Sainte-Barbe and the greeting ceremony, in the new rescue center of Is-sur-Tille inaugurated by the same occasion.
New functions for Deza
“After more than three years dedicated to the reorganization and deployment of Sdis de la Côte-d’Or equipment, he decided to join the general directorate of civil security to take on new functions,” said Hubert Poullot, wishing to the person concerned (absent excused this Friday evening) “full success in his new missions”.
Bertrand Lepoutère to act as interim manager
His functions will now be assumed on an interim basis by Colonel Bertrand Lepoutère, deputy departmental director since July 2024, “in order to maintain the deployment of the objectives of the SDACR (Departmental Risk Analysis and Coverage Scheme, Editor's note), support for young sappers -firefighters and the associative world, which is essential for the future of Sdis and the recruitment of our future firefighters,” concluded Hubert Poullot on this subject.
