Soufiane Benjdida signs on loan at new club

The contract of Benjdida (23 years old) also includes a purchase option, indicated the club, welcoming the arrival of this “fast and technical” attacker, able to “energize the Brussels offensive line” and “bring his energy and flair to the team.

“RWDM is a historic club, and I would be honored to be able to help it return to the first division. It’s an attractive project, (…) it’s also a great opportunity for playing time and to showcase myself,” said the player in an interview published on the club’s website.

“I am still at a young stage of my career, and the RWDM offers me a great opportunity to show what I am capable of. I still have a lot to learn, and I think I will have this opportunity here, with an excellent coach and teammates whose style I already appreciate,” he added.

Soufiane Benjdida becomes the third Moroccan player to strengthen the ranks of RWDM this season. Trained at Raja Casablanca, the former Moroccan U23 international joined SL16 FC last summer before joining the A core of Standard de Liège during the summer preparation.
