Nearly a month after the transaction which saw Terrebonne native Jayden Plouffe leave the Chicoutimi Saguenéens for the Montreal Phoenix, the 16-year-old from Lanaudier seems to have found his comfort level as he has already obtained more points with his new team than at the start of the season.
Since his change of address, Plouffe has scored two goals in addition to two assists in 8 games with the Phoenix.
He started his first season in the QMJHL by obtaining 1 goal and two assists in 14 games played with Chicoutimi.
However, he could improve his personal statistics as the Phoenix plays three home games this week, on January 15, 17 and 18, against the Shawinigan Cataractes, the Cape Breton Eagles and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
Jayden Plouffe, the 6th pick in the last QMJHL draft, was traded on December 16 in exchange for a first round pick as well as a second round pick in 2026, a third round selection in 2025 and a seventh in 2027.
