In pictures: the Grand Stadium of Tangier adapts to international standards

Work is in the final stages on the main corridor leading to the changing rooms, which will soon be covered with a special type of artificial turf that meets international standards. Work continues until late at night. Dozens of workers are therefore busy putting the final touches to the referees’ locker rooms, technical and medical teams and areas reserved for the media.

The interior space of the Grand Stade de Tangier offers new fitness rooms, multi-purpose rooms, a mobile clinic equipped with the latest equipment, a room specialized in sports medicine, a satellite broadcasting room and an international radio and television.

This work is carried out by SONARGES, the company which manages the stadiums, through its regional branch in Tangier, and the National Agency for Public Facilities (ANEP).

The players’ and referees’ locker rooms, the facilities reserved for organizers, the medical facilities, the restaurants, the press rooms… so many facilities whose work is progressing considerably.
