A 20th victory for the Hawks

Atlanta picked up its 20th victory of the NBA season on Tuesday, in 39 matches. Clint Capela’s Hawks won 122-117 against Phoenix, whom they beat for the 11th time in a row in Georgia.

Clint Capela was discreet against the Suns. The Geneva interior, who was only allowed 20 minutes of play, was satisfied with 3 points (1/2 both on shooting and free throws). He certainly grabbed 8 rebounds, but finished the game with a differential of -7.

The other pivot of the Hawks, Onyeka Okongwu, on the other hand, shone by accumulating 22 points and 21 rebounds. The man of the match in the Atlanta camp was nevertheless fullback Trae Young, author of 43 points – his record this season – thanks in particular to his 6 award-winning baskets.

Beaten four times in their last five outings, the Hawks made the difference in money time. A 13-3 partial completed in just over three minutes allowed them to increase the score from 101-101 to 114-104 with 3’00 remaining.
