In search of a second row, Colomiers rugby has set its sights on Myles Edwards, player from Mont-de-Marsan. Discussions are advanced to bring in the powerful 27-year-old English player.
After Federico Lavanini and Luka Plataret, does Colomiers rugby have its third recruit? We are not yet at this stage but discussions are advanced between the Haut-Garonnais club and Myles Edwards. The English second row (1.99m, 125kg) has a powerful number 5 profile which fits perfectly with the Columérin needs for next season. As a reminder, the squad at La Colombe will be reduced by Janse Roux, leaving for CA Brive, and Jack Whetton, who will not be retained at the end of his contract next June.
With the arrival of Federico Lavanini, a Pampas player of similar size (2m, 122kg), Colomiers would hold a good part of his right axis with Myles Edwards. He benefits from great knowledge of the championship, having played seven seasons there, between Aurillac, Oyonnax, Vannes and Stade Montois. But for the Columérins leaders, this file still needs to be finalized.
