Ivan Demidov is even better than Kirill Kaprizov according to KHL player

Réjean Tremblay has spanked hard with his first column on the site PunchingGrace.com last Friday, when he indicated that Trevor Letowski had his laptop stolen, computer which he had left hang out in his char.

Renaud Lavoie tried to minimize the impact of this theft on BPM Sports, but I was told during the weekend that even if it was indeed the personal computer of the Canadiens assistant, it still contained delicate information concerning certain areas of the CH Group. That’s why the police really worked hard to try to find the laptop. But in vain…

This morning, Réjean returned to the charge by recounting that he encountered Bob Hartley in a P.F. Chang from Florida on Friday.

Bob and Reg obviously talked about hockey – I invite you to read the column that the Godfather wrote following their meeting -, but let me tell you reports what Bob said to Réjean regarding Ivan Demidov:

“I saw Demidov play several times in junior in Russia. He’s quite a player. And above all he’s a damn good kid. Easy to coach. » – Bob Hartley on Ivan Demidov

In fact, let me tell you what an unnamed KHL player told Bob Hartley about Demidov as recently as last Friday:

“He’s an extraordinary player. Big hockey quotient. Exceptional vision. The best one-on-one I’ve ever seen […] even better than Kaprizov. » – A KHL player on Ivan Demidov

Kaprizov has 50 points (including 23 goals) in 34 games this season. He has seasons of 108 and 96 points behind the tie in the NHL. And he won the Calder Trophy in his first season on the Bettman circuit.

Knowing that Bob Hartley knows Russian hockey inside and out on his pockets, there is reason to be excited, dear Canadian supporters! Looking forward to the 2025-26 Montreal Canadiens season! #MorethanTheMix

Ivan Demidov vs Alexander Radulov

Demidov is, at the time of writing, facing Alexander Radulov’s team in Russia.

Demidov regained his place in third ligne for a few matches.

Demidov stretched one of his shifts today and was caught offside, probably exhausted from his long shift.

Let’s hope he won’t be benched again by Roman Rotenberg…

We will obviously write about the Demidov meeting once it is over. Stay tuned.

Remember that Demidov is currently playing the last year of his contract with SKA St. Petersburg and that he has refused at least three contract extension offers. He really wants to come play in Montreal.

In burst

– There are some guests surprises interesting at the CF Montreal camp.

– Dismissing the coach (recognized and reputable) will therefore not have resolved anything. On the contrary !

– We love him.

– To be continued.

– The FIFA sanctioned the Philadelphia Union.
