Loïc Meillard is definitely the tree that hides the forest of the performances of the Swiss slalom team. At Madonna di Campiglio, the Neuchâtelois was the only one to have managed to grab the top-10 after the first round. The other Swiss? The other Swiss were already far away, all relegated to more than two seconds: Tanguy Nef 20th at 2″28, Luca Aerni 22nd at 2″39 and Marc Rochat 23rd at 2″44. And the second route certainly saw Tanguy Nef regain twelve places to rank a good 8th and Marc Rochat thirteen places to get a top-10 (10th), but it seems that no Swiss, except is Loïc Meillard, cannot win in slalom this season.
