While Reims and the player had given the green light on Saturday evening for the loan with option to purchase Amine Salama, Nantes would no longer be entirely sure of wanting to recruit the 24-year-old striker who, for his part, had planned to travel this Sunday to finalize his arrival in the ranks of the current 14th in Ligue 1. Everything was planned: the hotel reservation, the train tickets. The player had even already packed his things, thinking that everything would be sorted out in the coming hours.
It was finally on the Nantes side that the discussions took another turn during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Upon awakening, the club informed the player of the postponement of his signing, asking him to wait while certain disagreements were resolved internally.
