Vinicius Jr set to become European club owner

After Kylian Mbappé, who recently became an owner in , after the takeover of , it is the turn of the Brazilian international, Vinicius, to become the owner of a club in Europe.

Like Kylian Mbappé, Sadio Mané or even David Beckham…, the Real Madrid player plans to also become the owner of a club. According to information from journalist Roberto Antolin, from Cadena COPE radio and confirmed by the media ESPN, Vinicius is considering the possibility of buying a club in the Portuguese second division. This is FC Alverca, 8th in Portuguese D2, reports Maisfutebol.

The Portuguese second division has 18 clubs, including the reserve teams of Benfica and Porto.

Vinícius would not be the first active footballer to buy a club. The Brazilian would follow in the footsteps of N’Golo Kanté, who owns Royal Excelsior Virton in the Belgian third division, and Vini’s Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappé, who became the majority shareholder of Caen in the French second division , in July last year.

The deal could be concluded for around 10 million euros and negotiations are underway, adds the media.
