He hires miners to do the dirty work

Last fall, Lévis police issued a wanted notice for the 40-year-old man, affiliated with the Blood Family Mafia group. Vallée had run away from his therapy, located in .

He settled all his cases in the Quebec district on Friday. He initially pleaded guilty to charges of domestic assault and mischief in a June 2024 event.

He then pushed his intimate partner, in addition to smashing her car window, in the parking lot of a convenience store. This altercation also earned him a charge of breach of condition, given that he had agreed not to disturb public order at that time.

Settling of accounts

In July 2024, Vallée sells cocaine to a young woman. He then hires her for a break and enter, in exchange for a bag of drugs worth $400. He then recruits two minors to accompany him.

Vallée takes care of the planning. The woman has to knock on the door and create a diversion, while the minors enter Lévis’ house through the window. Vallée must stay in the car.

He hands balaclavas, a crowbar, a baseball bat and a hammer to the trio. The accused orders the juveniles to beat the victims in the arms and legs, then demand payment of a debt in his name. He also warns the trio not to commit murder.

If they were caught by the police, the woman and the two boys were not to mention his name.

Plan failure

When the time comes, the woman knocks on the door, but the two minors are unable to enter the house. They are then noticed by the neighbors, who shout at them to leave. The trio decides to flee, but Francis Vallée had already left the scene in the car.

The 40-year-old man is guilty of attempted break and enter to commit assault with a weapon and conspiracy to commit assault with a weapon and break and enter. He also admitted guilt to a charge of cocaine trafficking.

Vallée was acquitted in his files in Laval, relating to his escape from legal custody, in December.

He was sentenced to three years in detention, his first penitentiary sentence. If we calculate the pre-trial detention, he has 31 months left to serve.

Francis Vallée had an already extensive judicial record, with a history of domestic violence, drug trafficking and crimes of violence. He had already served sentences of several months in the past.
