The fight continues at the top of the Vendée Globe between Charlie Dalin and Yoann Richomme with an arrival scheduled for next week.
If Charlie Dalin remains firmly in the lead of the Vendée Globe a few days before the arrival in Les Sables-d’Olonne (France), his insatiable pursuer Yoann Richomme has not said his last word, the duo is now heading back up the Atlantic offshore of the Canary Islands.
At the 7:00 a.m. check-in on Friday, Dalin maintained a comfortable lead of 177 nautical miles. Third, Sébastien Simon continued his route further west, alone in the world.
Far behind, the Briton Sam Goodchild took the lead of the peloton during the night which was still scrapping along the Brazilian coast.
