The city of Casablanca will host, from January 10 to 12, the first edition of the African Pediatric Congress, with the participation of representatives of specialized medical associations from Europe, Maghreb and African countries.
Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this congress, organized by the Casablancaise Association of Private Pediatricians (ACPP), in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Mohammed VI Foundation of Sciences and of Health (FM6SS), constitutes an opportunity to discuss medical and epidemiological advances linked to the health of premature babies, infants and children, indicates a press release from the organizers, reports MAP.
This scientific event, also organized in partnership with several scientific associations specializing in pediatrics on an international, European and African scale, will allow the discussion of numerous questions concerning the health of premature babies, infants and children, as well as the challenges that arise. linked at the level of the African continent, the same source specifies.
This medical meeting reflects Morocco’s strong presence in the field of health on the African continent, in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines aimed at strengthening South-South partnerships, given that health, as a key element of Moroccan-African cooperation, represents an essential component of parallel diplomacy.
-The congress program, which includes various presentations and workshops, will be marked by the launch of the African Health Prize “Doctor Abdellatif Berrada”, under the aegis of the FM6SS, and in partnership with the Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco.
Representatives of the International Association of Pediatrics, the French-speaking Association of Pediatricians of Sub-Saharan Africa and the Association of French-speaking Pediatricians, bringing together a large number of scientific associations specializing in child and pediatric medicine, as well as North African associations and Africans, will take part in this congress.
