YOUTH The new management of the Anderlecht academy has worked well during the year 2024 to contract all the players with potential from the promising generation of kids born in 2011. But at Neerpede the work never stops because a new generation is already emerging which could also arouse a lot of desire. Building on its success, the 2010 cohort is also considered extremely talented and 2025, which has just arrived, is an important year for its members since the best will be able to sign their first professional contract.
With two titles for its first two experiences in an official championship, the 2010 generation has directly identified itself as potentially being a future breeding ground from which Anderlecht will be able to draw to firstly constitute its second team and then strengthen its best showcase. But for this, the leaders of Neerpede will first have a lot of work to convince the most promising to continue their training in purple and white. 2025 is also a key year in this regard given that its representatives will celebrate their 15th anniversary. They will then be able to sign a first contract and Anderlecht will have to be proactive so as not to lose its many talents. Now is the time to look at this promising vintage.
Champion in upgrading in U13 and then in U14, the 2010 generation continues to fight for the title this season in U15 despite the promotion to the higher category of 3 of its most advanced players in their development and who had taken a significant part in their successes.

So let’s start this overview of the 2010 generation with the 3 most physically advanced players who were upgraded to the higher U16 category.
He Saved Dwight born 2/17/2010 (in photo)
Main architect of the U13 title acquired by the 2010 generation in upgrade, Dwight started last season in U14 before being quickly upgraded to U15. A powerful attacker of good size, he does not basically have the typical profile of Neerpede players who most often have a less imposing size. He often makes the difference at the forefront of the attack with his speed and power, whether in his category or even currently in the top. Disconcerting with his dribbling and explosiveness, he is often decisive by feeding the scorer or delivering a decisive pass. Moving him up the category was a good decision because it became too easy for him against kids his age but also for his teammates who tended to simply give him the ball so that he could do the job on his own. This upgrade took Dwight out of his comfort zone by now having to face more physically advanced players. This was also beneficial for the other elements of the 2010 generation who have since then had to find solutions for themselves and no longer rely on the percussion of their main strike force which had a big advantage over its adversaries in terms of size.
Mujangi Bia Adjani (30/5/20210) arrived from RWDM in 2020 (U11)
Son of former D1 player Geoffrey Mujangi Bia who was international with the Red Devils twice, Adjani was already upgraded last season. A defensive midfielder of good size, he is very comfortable technically and is a great worker in the shadows to recover the balls. Through his ability to make the right decisions and play fair and quickly, he has often been placed in central defense this season with the U16s where he stands out for his intensity in duels and his reading of the game.
Bounahr Ilyass (9/1/2001) arrived from Eupen last season (U14)
Two seasons ago, KAS Eupen had a great U13 team which was the only one to have worried the 2010 generation of purples in their domination of the category. Ilyass had been a determining factor in the good season for the German-speaking side and then headed to the capital following the relegation of the Eupen youth teams to Elite 2 for the following season. A solid midfielder combining physical and technical qualities, he integrated directly into the well-oiled mechanics of the Anderlecht U14s. Regularly shuttling between his team and that of the higher category, this season he was integrated into the U16 squad even if he sometimes still plays with the U15s. Son of a father of Moroccan origin and a Belgian mother, he recently chose to respond positively to the call of the Moroccan federation which he represented during a U15 match. This choice was made easier by the decision of the Belgian Union to no longer organize a selection for the category of 15-year-old players due to financial problems.
Let’s return to the U15 team, which is in the race to win a 3rd consecutive title, to see which kids born in 2010 can be qualified as elements to watch. Faithful to its policy of moving up the category of players who have it too easy in their category, the decision-makers of the academy have added 5 players born in 2011 to help them in their quest. They will have to wait another year before being able to sign a contract. Among the kids born in 2011, two have already participated extensively in previous campaigns. This is the lively attacker Adado Silas and especially the playmaker Croesus Kanawho is none other than Marco’s little brother, who shines brightly at the helm of this team. The other 3 are reinforcements who arrived this summer and who directly integrated this team without going through the U14s. This is the case for midfielders Bennane Ilyes (Genk) et Father Isaac (Bruges) and the attacker Kamara Mohamed (Standard).
Now let’s review the players born in 2010 of this U15 team. In a core leaning towards attack and having a big strike force, eyes are naturally first drawn towards the players with an offensive vocation and among these two players are permanent threats.
Kage Noah (15/1/2010) who arrived at Anderlecht very young and who is none other than the son of Hervé Kage who studied at Neerpede before making his way in the professional world of football with key 250 Belgian D1 matches and 38 goals scored. Noé is a creative and impactful element who can play up front or on the offensive flanks. He is capable of making a difference with his speed, his dribbling or even a long-range shot. Decisive with goals or assists, he has already found the net 6 times during the first 10 matches of the championship.
Horses of Samora (01/28/2010) 2018 (U9) who is also a kid who arrived at a young age with the mauves. Already a scorer 7 times in the first 10 days, Samory is poison for opposing defenses with his speed and percussion from the point of the attack or from the flanks. A good dribbler, he knows how to make the difference with his goals or his assists.
During the two titles in U13 and U14, the captain Antinoro Darius (20/8/20210) ruled the midfield next to Kana. Present at Neerpede since 2018 (U9), little Dario has what we call Anderlecht DNA. Technically gifted and creative, he is a perfect transitional element between the defensive and offensive sectors. Leader by actions and voice, he directs the play of his team by moving between the lines to distribute the game. Due to some health problems which forced him to be away from the field, he is almost not get into action this season.
In the defensive sector, we will highlight two central defenders who have great potential but who unfortunately have some injury problems at the moment. Kera Taty (12/6/2010) arrived from Tubize in 2019 (U10) and Barry Abdoulaye (7/12/2010) transferred from RWDM in 2022 (U13) normally form an uncompromising central hinge. Due to various injuries, they hardly had the opportunity to step on the pitch during the first part of the season but remain talented defenders as proven by the title of best player awarded to Barry during the prestigious Seesing U12 tournament. in the Netherlands won by Anderlecht in front of good international teams.
The purple academy hasn’t released a full-back for a very long time and here are two elements that could perhaps fill this gap.
Sarah Aaron (14/3/2010)
Son of Bouba Sare, the former Burkina Faso international who played 45 games between 2006 and 2011 for Anderlecht with a title to boot. He is a right back of small size but who does not let himself be counted out in duels. Good positioning and good at construction thanks to his good technique, he sometimes tends to take too many risks and has already cost a few goals due to risky dribbling attempts in the defensive zone. If he manages to refine his game, this kid who has been at Neerpede since he was little could have a future as a full-back.
Vandierendonck Jamie (26/7/2010) arrived from Cercle Bruges in 2023 (U14)
Jamie’s presence at Neerpede was not a given and is largely due to Club Brugge whose officials ignored the glowing reports from their scouts when he played for the small Heist club on the Belgian coast. Small, he probably did not meet the club’s criteria and therefore took the direction of the Cercle where he directly caught the eye of the purple recruiters. After only one season, he headed to the capital despite the distance and a first attempt from the Bruges academy which was only activated from the moment the decision-makers learned that he was going to sign in Anderlecht.
Son of a triathlete, Jamie has a big chest which allows him to roam the entire left flank. From the start, he directly established himself at left back despite the change in environment. He is not one of the biggest, but is very dynamic and aggressive in a good way, which allows him to gain the upper hand defensively over his opponents. His contribution is also offensive because he always looks for a solution in possession of the ball and is capable of bringing danger to the opposing camp.
We can still add to this list a versatile element who has provided proud service to his team in different positions in the defensive sector. Kuluki Blessy (18/8/2010) has already helped out in several places since his arrival from Fc Mechelen in 2019 (U10). Due to numerous injuries this season, he finished the first round to general satisfaction in front of the defense where he stood out for his slaughter and his reading of the game which allowed him to recover a lot of balls and plug holes .
