Soufiane Rahimi named world top scorer in international matches

Atlas Lion Soufiane Rahimi won the title of top scorer in the world in international matches in 2024, according to a ranking established by the International Federation of History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Author of 20 goals over a calendar year, the member of Al Ain FC (Emirates) was one unit ahead of his compatriot Ayoub El Kaabiwho plays in the ranks of the Greek club Olympiakos.

Rahimi scored 16 goals for his club and 4 for the national team, while El Kaabi scored 15 times for his club and 4 times for the Atlas Lions.

At the time when the latter finished goleador of the Conference League in Europe, a less prestigious competition, won by Olympiakos, the former rajaoui was crowned top scorer in the Asian Champions League, won by Al Ain.
