On the occasion of Boxing Day, the National Rugby League (LNR) and the Top 14 clubs have decided to join forces for the fourth year in a row with Restos du Cœur in a campaign which is dedicated to families and children. more vulnerable.
How can you not smile when you hear Éric Bayle getting excited about baby videos as if he were commenting on the Top 14 final! For its campaign video in support of Restos du Cœur as part of Boxing Day 2024, the LNR focused on emotion and cuteness… And it was successful!
We see young children playing, moving around, eating… All under a background of comments from Éric Bayle, the voice of rugby at Canal +, on the microphone for this “Ubébé – Loulou” match. “Ooh the spoon a few centimeters from the goal” in front of a baby eating; “already a first change behind, it will bring freshness” in front of another whose diaper is being changed… The lines are very well thought out and make you smile.
A fun way to discuss a subject that deserves all our attention: poverty which affects thousands of families and young children. “In France, one in five children lives below the poverty line: the Restos du Cœur act from early childhood by offering much more than food aid, to build a future where these children will not become the foster adults of tomorrow” , recalls the LNR in a press release.
To support this campaign, a special system will be set up around the matches of the 13th day of the Top 14 with donation collections, auctions and events in the stadiums. It is possible to make a donation to Restos du Cœur by clicking here.
