Laurent Huard could make some changes to the ASSE team which is preparing to face OM in the Coupe de France.
While waiting for Eirik Horneland to get his bearings, it is Laurent Huard who will manage the ASSE French Cup match against OM this Sunday afternoon. This is not the former midfielder's first interim role. In four years in Forez, Huard has already had to intervene twice among the pros. The first was January 17, 2021 in Strasbourg (0-1) because Claude Puel and part of the squad had covid. The second was December 9, 2023 after the dismissal of Laurent Batlles and before the arrival of Olivier Dall'Oglio and the Greens lost in the Coupe de France against Nîmes (0-1). The former Rennes player then gave the impression of not wanting to play the game to the fullest as he had fielded a team of second-stringers.
Miladinovic and Briançon should participate
What will happen against OM? We already know that Brice Maubleu will start in goal, for the first time since his arrival this summer. Serbian midfielder Igor Miladinovic could also experience his baptism of fire, and Huard announced that Anthony Briançon would have playing time. The former Croco has not played since the start of the season due to an injury, and it is not excluded that he starts in defense since Léo Pétrot is absent.
