Villeneuve. OAF: Time for a truce

Last weekend, all the teams were already on winter rest except the senior team 3 which was making up for a late match against neighbors Foot Rouergue. The match is very committed and with a lot of impact on a relatively soft pitch.

The two teams took turns creating chances during the first act but missed the last move. Half-time was then whistled with a goalless score despite technical domination and rapid transition phases well carried out by the OAF players.

From the first minutes of the second half, the young local players got back to work and David appeared at the far post to victoriously take a corner well struck by Tom. Reduced to 10 in the 60th minute due to a clumsy play, the OAF team pulled together and managed to snatch victory with the smallest score thanks to great cohesion and a lot of pugnacity.

This victory secures first place in the group. “Congratulations to them and to coach Noa, for a team that is still undefeated.”

Club Christmas

To celebrate, everyone joined the approximately 200 parents, children and educators who welcomed Santa Claus to the Villeneuve village hall around a good meal. Each young person and educator were able to receive a gift jersey offered by the various sponsors: Euromaster, les Fleurines, Pizza Royale, les voyages d’Hélène, Le glacier, the Francois Marty high school and Mac Donald.
