URFA’s Christmas roses bloomed in Bazet

The teams of URFA (Union Rugby Féminin de l’Adour) and US Argelésienne who played this mid-December at the Léon Audoubert stadium in Bazet treated the public to a very pleasant match to watch. The mountain seniors faced the lionesses of the plain and dominated one half each. In this game, it was thanks to their good performance in the second period that the locals won with a score of 18 to 12. At the final trill, the roses were able to let their joy explode. These girls, including a few mothers, did their best on the muddy terrain. Luckily, the sun was out and the supporters were there for this last match before the so-called confectioners’ truce. The championship will resume on January 12 with the reception of the players from Colomiers (31). The coaches of this URFA training, Stéphane Mariette, Chahib Abaïr, Titi Sénac, Pierre Lasserre and Jérôme Chalan can be proud of his girls who give themselves without counting for their beautiful pink colors. This December 15, the Christmas roses bloomed in Bazet and that’s so much the better.

In Bazet as well as in Bordères sur Echez and Lagarde, the ELPY BBL, the football club common to the three municipalities, is a real institution. The officials inform you that this Saturday morning, December 21, between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., the football school graduates accompanied by their educators will make their traditional tour of the calendars whose profits are used to improve the life of the club. Give a warm welcome to all these young people by being generous and generous. Don’t worry if you see groups dressed in orange and black since these are the official colors of the ELPY BBL. Your participation, however minimal it may be, allows the ELPY BBL to bring football to life in Bazet, Bordères sur Echez and Lagarde.
