Stability to regain

Let’s not be negative, our Lions have had a very convincing start to the season, despite the numerous injuries to the squad during the month of November. With 50 points won in 28 matches, Lausanne Hockey Club has firmly established itself in the top quartet of the championship, accompanied by ZSC Lions, HC Davos and SC Bern. With significant changes within their squad during the summer break, our Lions were able to make their transition while performing sportingly.

However, each season has its share of uncertainties with the consequence of influencing the good dynamics and the people of Lausanne have paid the price in recent meetings. With 7 major injuries scattered throughout the month of November, the Lausanne staff had to tighten up these troops and fill in the gaps, greatly destabilizing its defensive force. Recent returns to the gameAndrea Glauser, Lukas Frick et d’Ahti Oksanen are probably what the team needed most to reform a very disciplined team, capable of turning things around after 4 defeats in the last 5 meetings.

Encounters that end on a razor’s edge

The oppositions between the Levantines and the Lions are generally close matches, in which the winner often wins on the razor’s edge.
