Like every year, the BOB campaign comes to the Pro League stadiums. This campaign dedicated to road safety is a joint initiative of VIAS, Assuralia, the Belgian professional association of insurance companies, and Belgian Brewers. This request is obviously part of our social mission: thousands of supporters go to the stadiums every week to watch their favorite club’s match and have fun. Widespread awareness raising to ensure this takes place safely is part of a safe and responsible football experience.
This weekend, at Mambourg, a dedicated stand will be set up in the fan zone in collaboration with the Pro League and Fancoaching of the city of Charleroi. This stand will allow our supporters to become aware of the dangers of drinking and driving, but also to test their ability to get behind the wheel again thanks to interactive activities, including the Alcovision glasses test.
At the end of the meeting, those who wish will have the opportunity to blow into a breathalyzer. Key rings in club colors will be offered to those who obtain a negative alcohol test result.
