Equipped with weight training equipment, the trail offers a sporting experience surrounded by nature. “ The idea is to offer a space for rest and rejuvenation, far from the noise of the road,” explains the mayor.
A Lively Natural Setting
The major asset of the site remains its natural setting, magnified by the Sègre, a river which crosses the place. Four bodies of water have been created, connected to each other, and bringing a particular charm to the whole. These bodies of water are not only beautiful: they are alive with local fauna, notably ducks and swans which delight young and old alike.
« This project meets our municipal ambition: controlling land, creating activities, permanent housing, but also spaces for well-being”specifies Georges Armengol.
A Paradise for Fishing Lovers
The space is also a favorite place for fishing enthusiasts. A local association allows young people to learn about the practice, particularly fly fishing. Not far from there, in the village of Err, there resides a world fly fishing champion, testifying to the importance of this discipline in the region.
