The club received the label “departmental mini-basketball school”.
On Wednesday, the SO Basket Coursan Grand Narbonne, represented by Bernard Diverchy, Marc Bullich and Jean-Michel Hérrada, was awarded the “departmental minibasket school” label from the hands of Romain Gomez, territorial technical director of the Aude Committee and Pyrénées-Orientales, Alexis Devauchelle technical advisor, and Natacha Paute, vice-president.
This qualification, resulting from particularly demanding specifications, is the fair reward for the club’s investment in the youngest (from U7 to U11), in terms of work provided by the management team, support for young people , commitment of teams, qualified and qualified coaches, the presence of a salaried coach, long-term and consistent training slots, parental involvement… An accreditation (the 2nd for the octogenarian association) which has earned the club the congratulations of those responsible for the committee, which supports all clubs in these approaches to excellence, as well as the first assistant Jean-Pierre Hérail.
To give meaning to this award, the SO will organize the U11 boys and girls finals on Saturday May 24, and the national mini-basketball celebration which will bring together 80 teams and more than 1,000 participants on the Espace Faure site.
