After losing his right to play on the PGA Tour at the end of the 2024 season, Paul Barjon hoped to regain a category on the great American circuit via the Final Stage of the PGA Tour’s QSchool. Unfortunately the player trained in New Caledonia did not achieve his objective like the other French representative involved in this last selective.
There will be no fourth or fifth French on the PGA Tour in 2025.
Paul Barjon et Jeremy Gandon have not managed to finish among the first 5 and tied at the end of the 4 rounds of the Final Stage of the QSchool of the PGA Tour and will not join Victor Perez, Matthieu Pavon et Antoine Rozner.
9th after 36 holes, Barjon fell to 50th this weekend with two cards over par (73 on the Sawgrass Country Club then 71 on the Dye’s Valley Course).
A position at the end of 72 holes that he shares with Drômois Jérémy Gandon who returned a fine final card of 69 on Sunday at Ponte Vedra Beach.
Unfortunately it was necessary to finish among the 40 players and tied for this top 5 to obtain a category guaranteeing participation in at least ten tournaments in the Korn Ferry Tourthe antechamber of the PGA Tour and a circuit on which Barjon has won twice in the past.

Crumbs from the Korn Ferry Tour
For this the two French people would have had to play one move less after these 4 rounds. They therefore left Florida with only a conditional playing right in the Korn Ferry Tour 2025.
Opportunities will be rare there and they will most often have to fall back on the PGA Tour Americasa circuit bringing together most of the tournaments in Latin America.
Note the Argentinian’s excellent weekend Alejandro Tosti author of two cards of 65 and 66 to climb back into the top 5. We will therefore find his strong character (sometimes too much so) on the PGA Tour next year.
