Moroccan journalist Jalal Bouzrara at the helm of the ceremony

The Confederation of African (CAF) has revealed the identity of the presenters for its awards ceremony for the year 2024, which will be held next Monday at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.

According to the press release published on the official CAF website, American host Kate Scott and Moroccan journalist Jalal Bouzrara will be in charge of this prestigious event.

Kate Scott has a wealth of experience in the media field. She has worked for renowned channels such as “CNN”, “Sky Sports” and “CBS”.

She has also presented prestigious ceremonies such as the Ballon d’Or and the Laureus World Sports Awards. Polyglot, she speaks English, Spanish, French and German fluently. Most recently, she hosted the UEFA Champions League broadcasts alongside footballing legends Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher.

For his part, Jalal Bouzrara has 33 years of experience in sports journalism. He has held several key positions in his country’s biggest sports broadcasts. He also presented the CAF Awards ceremony in 2022.

Bouzrara began his television career in 2007 and has hosted numerous sports shows. He regularly collaborates with FIFA, CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation during major events. He is fluent in several languages, including Arabic, French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
