No less than thirty-eight African nations are involved in this campaign in order to win one of the 12 qualifying places for the final phase, in addition to Morocco, automatically qualified as host country. The playoffs will take place in two rounds in a two-way format.
The senior women’s Red Devils know what to expect. Congo will be received in the first round by Malawi. The first leg is scheduled for February 17, 2025 and the return on February 26 of the same year in Brazzaville. The winner of this double confrontation will be received in the second round either by Angola or Zimbabwe. The matches in this stage are scheduled for October 20 and 28, 2025.
In addition to the senior ladies, Congolese women’s football will be on two tables in the lower categories. Except for the first round of the Under-20 World Cup qualifiers, Congo will be hosted in the second round by Guinea-Bissau. The first confrontation will take place between September 19 and 21, 2025 and the second between September 26 and 28.
The winner of this double confrontation will qualify for the third round and will receive the winner of the match (South Sudan-Djibouti/Malawi-Central African Republic). The first leg will be played between February 6 and 8, 2026 and the return on February 12 and 14. The winner will play in the first half of May on the 4the and final round at the end of which the four African selections qualified for the final phase of the World Cup in Poland will be selected.
Committed to the qualifiers for the 2025 World Cup in Morocco, the Red Devils women under 17 also know their journey. Congo will host Benin in the first round. The first leg will be played between January 10 and 12, 2025 and the return on January 17 or 19. In the event of qualification, the Red Devils will face the Democratic Republic of Congo and Niger in the second round. The matches will take place between March 7 and 9 for the outward leg and March 14 and 16 for the return leg. The third round scheduled for April 18-20 and 25-27 will determine the qualifiers.
