The team: Chicago solid defensively
The Chicago Bulls, 10th in the Eastern Conference, won at home against the Charlotte Hornets (109-95), ranked 13th. Chicago’s defense helped keep Charlotte at bay on the scoreboard, with the Bulls taking the lead in the opening seconds of the game. The Bulls thus signed 11 blocks (including five by Jalen Smith and three by Matas Buzelis) and 12 interceptions (four by Josh Giddey). They also hampered the Hornets on long-range shots. The latter only managed a horrible 8/46. In attack, Ayo Dosunmu (19 points), Cody White (18 pts) and Giddey (17) were the most effective.
