Club Brugge seems to be heading towards a fairly calm winter transfer window. After all, the Bruges core is already quite complete. Only the departure of an incumbent could change the plans of Bruges leaders.
Daniel Cummings
While no major arrivals are expected, Bruges continues to scan the market for good opportunities. The people of Bruges are particularly closely following a young Scottish striker. His name? Daniel Cummings.
Bruges scouts have had the opportunity to see him in action this season since the young 18-year-old striker plays with the Celtic B team which faced Club NXT in the Youth League. He also scored the one and only goal of the match during the confrontation between the two teams.
Cummings is what you would call more of a real surface fox. He has 6 goals in 6 Youth League games and 17 goals in the Scottish Fifth Division, after only 15 appearances.
Followed by many clubs
Bruges is, however, not alone on this issue. Indeed, Bologna and Red Bull Salzburg have also expressed interest, while several Premier League clubs are also following him closely.
Celtic, who have not yet made an extension offer to Cummings, will have to move if they do not want to see their greatest talent leave freely next summer.
