INJURIES – OTHER After eight months of absence due to injury, Thorgan Hazard is about to return to the field. He could celebrate his return to the first team in the last home match of the year, on December 27, against Dender.
Following the ankle injuries to Killian Sardella and Mario Stroeykens, good news is emerging from the Anderlecht infirmary. Thorgan Hazard is set to return after suffering a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee during the play-offs against Union last April.
In accordance with the program defined by the RSCA medical team, Hazard will resume with the RSCA Futures. Saturday December 21 is the date marked with a cross in Hazard’s calendar. The Anderlecht U23s will play against Deinze, but it is very likely that the Ghent court will announce the bankruptcy of the East Flanders club today.
It remains uncertain that if their match against Deinze is canceled, Anderlecht will organize an additional training match for Hazard.
