Adam Aznou, first step in the Champions League in a Bavarian festival – Mountakhab – The Atlas Lions

Bayern Munich delivered a convincing performance by winning largely (1-5) on the Shakhtar pitch during the 6th day of the Champions League. Although quickly surprised by a goal from Kevin in the 5th minute, the Bavarians, stung in their pride, responded with authority thanks to Konrad Laimer (11th), Thomas Müller (45th) and Jamal Musiala (87th). French midfielder Michael Olise sealed the fate of the match by scoring a double (70th sp, 90th +3), notably on a penalty at the end of the match.

This victory allows Bayern to temporarily climb to 8th place in the ranking, while Shakhtar remains in a modest 27th position. The highlight of this meeting was the entry into play in the 89th minute of Adam Aznou, a young 18-year-old Moroccan international. Launched by Vincent Kompany, the promising Atlas Lion played his first minutes in the Champions League. An unforgettable entry for the young player, especially as he had the opportunity to witness Olise’s last goal on the pitch (90th+3). These first strides in the most prestigious of European competitions augur a promising future for the young Moroccan defender.
